Continuous Increase in Engineering Graduates

International Association of Registered and Certified Engineer’s annual research depicts a continuous increase in the number of engineering graduates in USA. The Engineering Industry has seen a rise in the number of graduates in the past few years. Previous year there was a 21% increase in the number of students receiving bachelor’s degrees in engineering. This growth was more than the growth in different sectors.

The engineering sector has also revealed an increase in salaries of engineers and technicians. But the engineering sector is also not immune to the supply and demand forces. The supply of workers is linked with the increasing salaries in the engineering industry. The engineering graduates are continuously on the rise and market response may be strong for the present situation. There is 9% growth in the engineering sector, which is lesser as compared to the growth in the graduates. There will be a lack of employment opportunities in the engineering industry if the overall development is not increased.
